DVMixerPro Trial is the evaluation version of the DVMixerPro application, developed by VanillaON which is a company operated by Gapsoft Corporation. For those who know this company and its Vanilla BABY application, let’s say that DVMixerPro is the professional edition of the former. It only takes to note the difference in price to know there’s a difference between the two applications: while Vanilla BABY costs $ 29.95, DVMixerPro costs $ 745. DVMixerPro is oriented to provide a whole video editing and encoding solution as simple and enjoyable to use as possible. That’s why the application uses an intuitive and single-window interface where you can find all you need. You can use and mix up to five different media sources (Vanilla BABY only allows two channels) applying all kind of effects and transitions. Among the sources you can use to acquire videos to process with DVMixerPro, we can mention the following: camcorders, VCRs, VCD and/or DVD players, files you have in your local hard drive or files you can get over the network. Note that you might need some specific hardware devices to get the videos.
One interesting feature of this application is that it includes an auxiliary tool named Auto DVMixer. Since video processing can take a while, you could want to put your PC to work at nights, or any other time you are not using your computer. Auto DVMixer is exactly oriented to that; it’ll allow you to schedule encoding jobs for later times. The encoding process, just like in Vanilla BABY, will allow you to choose whether to encode your file in Real Media or Windows Media, according your preferences and requirements. This trial version is valid for a 30-day period after which you won’t be able to use it anymore.
